We had an amazing stay at the Tudor Farmhouse. Beautiful room with a bath, really lovely and helpful staff, bike storage which was very useful for us and delicious food too. We were so relaxed and loved the walks available from the door of the hotel too with very helpful maps and directions provided. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel was lovely, was a real shame that the staff weren’t warm/welcoming as this really impacted our experience. Felt as though everytime we asked a question the staff were quite short with us.

We stayed for 2 nights over new year. The hotel was very friendly, the room comfortable, and the area had lots of great walks.

A charming hotel nestled in the Forest of Dean. Excellent service,delicious food and comfortable accommodation. We visited during a a wet January, when the hotel was very quiet.

From the moment we arrived until the time we left, our stay was absolutely exceptional. Everything was flawless from start to finish. Our room was incredible — beautifully presented, extremely comfortable, and clearly designed with great attention to detail. It made our stay feel truly special. We were fortunate to enjoy the taster menu, which was simply sublime. Every course was outstanding and a real highlight of the experience. A special mention must go to the staff, particularly Emmy and Sammy, who were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely warm throughout our stay. Their care and attention made such a difference. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will most definitely be returning.

Visited for the Christmas package with our two retriever dogs. Had a wonderful experience with lovely, helpful staff, comfortable room and delicious food. Spacious, luxurious room with treats for our dogs on arrival. Always felt the hosts were going out of their way to make us and our pets feel welcome. Food was spot on with well-stocked wine cellar. Loved the selection of recommended local walks with maps provided. Greatly appreciated the outdoor warm shower for our muddy paws. Would highly recommend for all doggy visitors to the Forest of Dean.

This was our second visit to the Tudor Farmhouse Hotel, but it won't be our last. We enjoyed the unique surroundings and ambiance and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff made our stay relaxed and rewarding. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable stay at Tudor Farmhouse hotel and thank you to all involved. The shower pressure was incredible and this is from a person who normally has their shower on a trickle for a water conservation viewpoint. My husband did laugh that I was not able to have a trickle shower here as our room, cockerel room 9, there is no choice on volume of water. It is maximum or nothing. Bed linens super soft, high quality. One of the most generous welcome tray setups we have come across. Some days we didn't drink all our bottled water and a new bottle was left as well as the half we left unfinished We liked that. We decided the only thing that could be improved was the menus. Tudor farmhouse let you mix up anything you want from their full English breakfast but you need to know to ask, so if you just want eggs on toast, ask. They will do it. You don't have to use your streaming account on the tv and then forget to logout as there is an account for Netflix and Amazon prime you can use. We had drinks before dinner and the afternoon tea all excellent. It was our cotton wedding anniversary so I appreciated the super soft towels!! I am sure I have forgotten something. We may return as I want to try Clearwell caves deep level caving which is a short walk from the hotel but only runs a couple times a month. Thank you again
